Players take a first-person perspective and follow the instructions of the intelligent system "Handle" or "Circus Babe" to complete tasks. The difference with the previous works is that the player can visit different rooms in each night, no longer just stay in a fixed point to click. The map is divided into the initial location of the elevator (Elevator), the central control room (Primary Control Module), the Funtime Auditorium (Funtime Auditorium), the accessories and service room (Parts & Service), the private room (Private Room), the scooping room ( Scooping Room), Circus Control Room, Circus Baby's Auditorium, Ballora Gallery, and Breaker Room. In addition, the game time depends entirely on the speed of the plot progress, in other words, the play time each night has a long and short. Although the vast majority of the time, the player needs to follow instructions, but occasionally there is room for disobedience, different choices can trigger a different plot, and even lead to a very different ending.

After the update, completing all the endings will unlock a custom night. The level is based on a private room set-piece survival game and lets players choose different combinations of 10 characters and difficulty levels.
