Master every moment

Dynamic, alternating gameplay means you can react and counter at any time, but so can your opponent. Choose from dozens of champion cards to add to your set, each with a different mechanic inspired by their original League of Legends abilities.

Champions enter battle as powerful cards, and if you play smart, they'll upgrade to become even more epic. Upgrade your champions multiple times during the game, and the more you play, the more you'll earn the Champion Mastery badge.

Always a new way to play

Each champion and ally in the game comes from a region in the Rune Lands, including Demacia, Noxus, Fredrode, Piltwulf and Zu'an, Aeonia, Gargoyle, Forbidden Rima, and the Shadow Isles.

Play to win, not

Pay to win Earn cards for free or use pieces and wildcards to buy what you want - you control your own collection and you never pay for random packs of cards. While there's always the option to buy specific cards, you can easily complete your collection without spending a dime.

Win or lose, each battle brings experience and progress. Choose the areas you want to explore first and unlock the allies, spells, and champions that summon you.

Once a week, you'll also unlock treasure chests from the Vault. The more you play, the more these chests will be upgraded, increasing the rarity of the cards inside, from common all the way up to champion cards. Treasure chests can also contain wildcards, which can be converted to any card you want.

Climbing up the ranks

At the end of each season, the 1024 qualifier ranked players from each of the four regional shards of the LOR (Americas, Asia, Europe and Southeast Asia) will be able to compete for pride, glory, and seasonal tournament bonuses.

But ranked tournaments aren't the only way to qualify for seasonal tournaments - you can also compete in the Last Chance Challenge. Glove is a limited-time competitive mode with unique rules and exclusive rewards.

Draft and Adapt

On expeditions, draft and use champions, followers, and spells from all over to build decks of Runeterra, even if they're not in your collection! Then test your new strategies against other players and fight for rewards.

The Lab is a limited-time experimental game mode that focuses on more extreme variations on the classic Runelands saga formula. Choose pre-made sets with specific restrictions, or bring your own set.
